How do the TouchPoint kits differ? | Overview

All three options—TouchPoint Essentials, TouchPoints with Wristbands, and TouchPoints for Sleep—utilize the same innovative BLAST® technology to alter the body's stress response. Each kit is designed to provide a calming experience, enhance focus, improve performance, support better sleep, minimize anger, and reduce cravings. They all feature the same three modes: blue for sleep/meditation, yellow for calm/focus, and purple for anger/agitation. Additionally, each kit comes with rechargeable batteries that offer a 3-4 hour battery life and are splash resistant.


The main difference lies in the included accessory, the devices' shutoff method, and FSA/HSA eligibility

How do the TouchPoint kits differ? | Shutoff Method

Manual shutoff:

Included with:TouchPoint Essentials and TouchPoints with Wristbands

TouchPoint Essentials and TouchPoints with Wristbands will run until manually powered off using the button on top of the devices, or until they run out of battery. TouchPoints are intended to be used as needed throughout the day typically, in 5-30 minute periods. These models are recommended for those who prefer more control over their usage or those who need the device for longer periods due to specific circumstances. For therapists, consider the need for uninterrupted use, which may be necessary for certain therapeutic techniques.


Models with manual shutoff can still be used for help falling asleep and staying asleep. Simply use the sleep setting while you're getting ready for bedtime and turn them off right before you go to sleep. If you fall asleep with them on, that's okay! There's no harm in using TouchPoints all night however you will need to recharge your TouchPoints in the morning.


Automatic shutoff:

Included with:TouchPoints for Sleep

TouchPoints for Sleep will automatically shut off after 30 minutes, or sooner if manually powered down using the buttons on top or if battery is low. TouchPoints are intended to be used as needed throughout the day typically, in 5-30 minute periods. This model is recommended for those who prefer to fall asleep with TouchPoints on, as the automatic shutoff feature will help preserve the battery. The automatic shutoff may also be beneficial for individuals and businesses who use TouchPoints several times per day for prolonged battery to help ensure that the TouchPoints are available when needed throughout the day.


How do the TouchPoint kits differ? | Included Accessory

Every TouchPoint kit includes one set of accessories. Please note that all accessories are compatible with every TouchPoint kit and can be purchased separately if desired.

Silicone Wristbands
Included with: TouchPoints with Wristbands 

Wear your TouchPoints comfortably on your wrists with our durable, adjustable silicone wristbands. Designed for ease and convenience, they keep your TouchPoints close and accessible throughout the day.


Zippered Sweatbands

Included with: TouchPoints for Sleep

These zippered sweatbands are a comfortable alternative to traditional wristbands - including kids with autism who cannot tolerate wristbands. These sweatbands can be worn on wrists or ankles and also muffle some of the vibration noise to keep your TouchPoints quiet and discrete!

How do the TouchPoint kits differ? | FSA/HSA Eligibility

TouchPoints for Sleep can be purchased with your FSA/HSA funds.

Please note, FSA/HSA provider may require a letter of medical necessity to purchase TouchPoints for Sleep as an OTC sleep aid.

TouchPoint Essentials and TouchPoints with Wristbands can be used for sleep, however they are not covered by FSA/HSA funds. Click here to learn more about the difference between TouchPoints.

Yes! TouchPoint Essentials and TouchPoints with Wristbands can be used for sleep. Likewise, TouchPoints for Sleep can be used for focus.
