ANGRY OUTBURSTS (TEENS)
When teens experience stress it can become difficult to manage their emotions and cope with the situation, leading to angry outbursts. These outbursts can be harmful to the teen's relationships with family and friends, as well as their own mental health. BLAST® can help restore calm faster and recover.
How blast® works for ANGRY OUTBURSTS (TEENS)
BLAST® INTERVENES
TouchPoint Solution’s wearable devices are embedded with patented BLAST® (bi-lateral alternating stimulation tactile) technology. BLAST® is scientifically proven to alter the body’s “fight or flight” response caused by stress. The wearables emit alternating vibrations that disengage your standard stress response (sympathetic nervous system), and shift you into the calm, logical side of your brain (parasympathetic nervous system).

CHANGE OCCURS
When using BLAST® consistently to calm down after an angry outburst, overtime you may not need them in certain situations as they become less stressful because of your BLAST®. One of the ways BLAST® works is by creating new neural pathways that help modify the memories that trigger our stress response. With continued use of BLAST®, these new neural pathways can build overtime, progressively reducing the release of stress related hormones that can cause angry outbursts.

MEASURABLE IMPACT
Research has shown that elevated cortisol levels can lead to increased irritability, mood swings, and aggressive behavior. A triple blind placebo-controlled trial with athletes showed TouchPoints™ stabilized cortisol levels during stressful events and reduced the level of stress. (Leal-Junior, E. C., Casalechi, H. L., Machado, C. dos, Serin, A., Hageman, N. S., & Johnson, D. S., 2019) View our full Stress Study.

CARYN S.
they've been a game changer
"I'm not certain how something so simple can be so effective but I'm not here to question the how or why, only to let you know that these little things work! My teen daughter has been struggling with anxiety, which prior to finding Touch Points, had been leading to other big problems in her life. She's been wearing these a couple of times a day for a few weeks now and they've been a game changer. She loves to quiet down and just relax while the gentle, alternating vibrations do their thing. She will even wear them on the bus on the way to school and back home. She says they take the edge off of her sharp thoughts. They've also been helpful at bedtime as sleep has been a struggle. For that purpose, I'd recommend a second set for nighttime with the timer that auto shuts off. These things are awesome! They can't hurt and they just might help you like they did us."
